School of Ecstatic Movement

The School of Ecstatic Movement runs both residential and online training courses. It was important to balance both a sense of authority as a ‘school’ whilst also reflecting energy and movement.

I was keen to avoid new age cliches – yet still visualise in some way the ‘ecstatic’ in a modern way. For drama on the homepage, we shot the intense, black and white image to capture a sense of movement. To heighten it further I angled the image and overlay contrasting graphic ‘energy lines’ to suggest the ecstatic . Together they create a sense of a modern, genuine event that aims to ‘reclaim ecstatic states as normal’. Imagery throughout the site is modern, warm and authentic. (Photographer: Frankie Stone).
